The majority of Mush and More’s elderberries are grown in Austria from the Haschberg variety, bred from a wild variety for its high anthocyanin content. A cooperative of 450 growers who are all certified organic and hand harvest for the highest quality material.

From soil to supplement
Step 1
It all starts with the ground
We believe that healthy plants start in healthy soil. To maximize an herb’s potential, we plant seeds in micronutrient-rich soil that is supported by regenerative agricultural practices.
Step 2
Care for and observe each plant
We allow our herbs to flower until the right time to harvest to ensure the purity and potency of each plant. We perform pre-harvest testing in our on-site lab to ensure each ingredient is harvested at its highest potency.
Step 3
Take out the whole plant
Each herb is carefully extracted without harsh solvents or chemicals to preserve its beneficial properties. The result is clean, safe and effective supplements.
Step 4
Test for purity and potency
Every product is tested for pesticides, microbes and heavy metals in our own ISO certified laboratory. Once we are confident that each batch is made to Gaia Herbs standards, they are bottled in our on-site production facility and shipped to you.
